RYABKOV Sergey Alexeevich

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Born in 1960

Having graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, entered the Foreign Service in 1982.

Since then served at several positions both at the central office of the Ministry and abroad

1995-1999 - Head of the OSCE Unit of the Department of European Cooperation

1999 – 2001 Senior Counsellor (political) of the Russian Embassy to the USA

2002-2005 - Minister Counsellor (Deputy Chief of Mission) of the Russian Embassy to the USA

2005-2008 - Director of the Department of European Cooperation

Since 2008 - Deputy Minister

Diplomatic Rank - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

Awarded with the Orders of Honour and Friendship

Married with two children
