Transcript of Response to a Russian Media Question by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Following Talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Munich, February 5, 2010

Question: What did the talks end with? Did the Iranian side say anything new?
Foreign Minister Lavrov: Nothing new was added to what Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had said. We exhaustively discussed the various options that can now be used to implement the agreement reached in Geneva on October 1, 2009. Our conversation took place in parallel with the fact that the experts of the IAEA and countries concerned are working on the same issue.
I hope that after today’s talk there is a chance that we still can find a scheme that will be acceptable to all and which will help reload the research reactor in Tehran. But more efforts are required.
